In addition to providing general oversight for all FMA projects, David manages the cost control and schedule systems that make FMA unique. He also handles all contractual, legal, financial, and insurance issues.
Since forming FMA in partnership with Charles Mazzola in 1991, David has completed over 150 high-end residential construction projects ranging in size from 100,000 to $20,000,000. Prior to forming FMA, David gained experience as a structural design engineer and then spent 10 years working for a large commercial builder in San Francisco where he was a senior project manager with sole responsibility for the management of projects that ranged from $25,000,000 to $75,000,000.
Charles provides general field oversight for all FMA projects. He works closely with FMA field personnel to ensure that all FMA projects receive the benefit of his experience in implementing cost-effective construction means and methods, and guidance on quality control issues as necessary for our projects to meet the high expectations of our clients.
Since forming FMA in partnership with David Forde in 1991, Charles has completed over 150 high-end construction projects ranging in size from $100,000 to $20,000,000. Prior to forming FMA, Charles spent five years as the Field Construction Manager for a large San Francisco general contracting and development company managing a construction volume in excess of $25,000,000. His construction experience includes single-family homes (both renovations and ground-up construction), condominium conversions and remodels, 100-units plus apartment building and residential hotel renovation, office building remodels and tenant improvement work, retail store and restaurant build-outs, and seismic upgrade of numerous unreinforced masonry buildings throughout San Francisco.
Aaron provides field oversight for all FMA projects on the peninsula. He's the primary contact for the owner and owner's representative. He's at the jobsites on a daily basis, attends weekly team meetings, and works closely with FMA field employees and subcontractors to ensure that the projects are being built to the client's expectations with respect to quality, cost, and schedule.
Aaron has more than 20 years of experience in high-end residential constructions and has been with FMA since 1994. Prior to joining FMA, he had extensive experience building custom homes and remodeling high-end residences.
